I have been a student of dance for 24 years and a teacher for over 10 years. I am a classically trained dancer, but found my true passion in urban/club/cultural styles such as Hip Hop, House, Voguing, Waacking, Dancehall, West African, Popping, Locking etc. I am fortunate to work as a performer and DJ where it is my duty to inspire people let go and have fun, which is an energy you will experience in my class. I LOVE teaching people of all levels as I believe everyone has something pure, creative and positive to share.

DANGERKAT BIO

Dangerkat is a rare breed of artist, whose work fuses dance, wearable art, music and choreography. Her aesthetic vision has earned her a BFA from the University of Calgary (CAN), and her performance art has graced the stages of Paris, London and New York Fashion Week for designers Jeremy Scott, Vivienne Westwood, Nova Dando and Parisian concept store Colette. She’s traveled the globe performing on the same bill as La Roux, Santigold, Diplo and Doug E. Fresh, while teaching her own brand of dance throughout Europe, Canada, Russia and the US. Her company, House of Dangerkat (HOD), have been guest performers at both Paris and Helsinki Juste Debout Festivals, where Dangerkat has judged and instructed master classes. In addition to founding HOD, she's deejayed for the likes of Madonna and Alicia Keys, and is currently a actor/aerialist/DJ in the Off Broadway smash hit Fuerza Bruta featuring Usher.
