“Builds on Devon's awesome intro and introduces a few of the more powerful tools in Illustrator. I have *zero* background in art and design, so I never expected to be able to create a snazzy poster of a savannah scene with my own automatic-generated, randomly-wavy grass tool, modifiable & colorable trace outlines of animals ripped out of random web images, and 3D-appearing text in only my 2nd hour of using the program. Expect the unexpected when Devon is driving.”

“Great class, great teacher. Just enough info about and hands-on tasks with Illustrator to turn it from a confusing brick wall with too many buttons to something I can dive into on my own now (learning curve step stool?). Devon uses cool examples and personal passion, too -- none of the all-too-common 'now we're gonna draw a box...and now we're gonna draw a circle...' crap. Logo and poster design from the first second (but not in an overwhelming way) - you exit confident and ready to start in on your own projects. Exactly what I wanted out of the class.”
