“Cielo did a great job of being direct, organized, and relevant in teaching this UX Design class. She got right to the point without frill or unnecessary tangents. In addition, Cielo used real life examples to make it easier for non-designers to be able to interact with the material that she was teaching and get her point across. The ability to be able to make information as simple as possible made this class quite enjoyable on a Thursday night. Not to mention a great Powerpoint presentation that presents a very clear hierarchy of information for students to efficiently group. As a recent university grad, I appreciated the clarity and amount of engagement she presented in her class. Job well done. ”

“I took Cielo's UX for Non-Designers class as a Designer. I'm a print + web designer (visual) and struggling with defining myself in this rapidly changing space and in job searching. Postings seem to want a designer to be able to do everything and I want to ensure I can talk about what I do/don't do while not underselling myself. While providing me with those answers, I also gained a better grasp for the proper processes. A lot of what I've done in web thus far has been small freelance jobs - so a lot of "figuring it out". Luckily, I've been on the right track! I would also highly recommend this class to clients because a lot of work begins with them (i.e. goal setting). Well designed, easy to follow presentation.”

Unfortunately the class size was not terribly conducive to learning - I think it should have been reduced by 5-10 people at least, and the space was not good. Also (and I know Cielo didn't know this in advance) there was a singing group in the next room - making it nearly impossible to concentrate. I'd like to see more classes from her in the future. In better spaces!”
