This class is for anyone with beginner to intermediate knowledge of PHP or Ruby and an interest in learning how to create websites that interact with APIs. This class is ideal if you are interested in expanding your knowledge of web programming and would like to learn how to interact with web services.

Jonathan Vingiano is a computer programmer and artist. Both his artwork and commerical work concerns human-computer interaction, open source culture, and internet culture. In 2011 Vingiano founded OKFocus, a technology and design studio, with Ryder Ripps. Before OKFocus, he was an engineer at Hyperpublic and prior to that, led the digital department of the New Museum of Contemporary Art. His artwork has been exhibited internationally and his work has appeared in The New Yorker, TechCrunch, the Village Voice, and Forbes Magazine. He was recently named one of the 50 most influential creatives of 2012 by Advertising Age. Jonathan holds a degree in Experimental Media from Emerson College.
