What Metrics Should I Measure? (LEAN 301)

, CEO/Founder, Lean Startup Machine

This class is a follow-up to our intro-level class Startup Metrics for Founders, which has been #1 across Skillshare. It has been designed for a small (8 students) hands-on seminar format, where we will consultatively analyze each interested student's project.

Based on students' needs, we will cover concepts and frameworks that may include:

  • Actionable Metrics & Split Testing
  • Qualitative vs Quantitative Metrics
  • Cohort Metrics
  • Validated Learning
  • Innovation Accounting Framework
  • Hypothesis Testing
  • Funnel Metrics and AARRR

Paying attention to the wrong metrics will lead your startup down the wrong path, don't take that risk by missing this class.

While you can learn this material in the abstract, ideally you are currently working on a startup or have worked on a startup in the past.

Please be sure to read the testimonials from the previous classes, including:

Stacy-Marie Ishmael (attended Advanced Startup Metrics for Founders) “I attended and really enjoyed Trevor Owen's session on Advanced Startup Metrics for Founders; the class was hands-on, high-energy and very practical. I left with a bunch of notes and more ideas for how to put the concepts to use. Recommended.”

Medvis Jackson (attended Startup Metrics for Founders) “Great Structure for this seminar. Lesson plan was very engaging and thought provoking. Information given is readily applicable for future start up endeavors”

Rushaine McBean (attended Startup Metrics for Founders) “Great class. Learned a lot of great practices that I can implement into my projects. I would definitely take another class by him again.”

John Suozzi (attended Startup Metrics for Founders) “Trevor's class was a thought provoking introduction on what metrics are and how they can help you improve your business, goal, or project. Taking the time to answer questions after class was also a plus. I hope there's a part 2 class coming soon!”
