The Internet is a big place, with enormous amounts of data.  How do social networks, search engines, and online businesses leverage all this data?   We will investigate what data is stored, how data is structured, and some clever tricks that make it work at massive scales.
 
We will demystify data structures such as arrays, queues, hash tables and trees to understand how useful information is extracted from large amounts of data.
