Students will learn how to convert basic/advance HTML into a Concrete5 template. Install and implement Concrete5 into a Linux hosting/WAMP or MAMP server. Create pages, add users, and install components into Concrete5. We will review backup, security and SEO as related to concrete5.
By the end of class you will be a Concrete5 website designer.
During this session you will learn how to install, configure and manage Concrete5. You will build a simple template from scratch, along with building a simple site.
Currently an instructor for University of the Arts Philadelphia, teaching open source web design, server side programming, PHP, mySQL, and Introduction to AS3.
