Javor is a classical pianist from Croatia and a graduate of the University of Mozarteum in Salzburg, as well as Mannes College in New York City. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the City University of New York. He has won numerous prizes at international competitions and performed at acclaimed music festivals across Europe, USA, China and South Africa.
In New York, Javor has performed at high-profile venues including Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, New York Historical Society, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His performance has been broadcast on WQXR classical music station, and his first solo CD album “Tribute to Haydn” has been released on Labor records.
Javor has given a series of concerts for the humanitarian organization "Yehudi Menuhin's Live music now" which brings music to nursing homes and hospitals. Javor has also given a series of lecture-recitals at the International House New York aimed at promoting the interest and understanding of classical music among young people.
