In 2004, I produced a song entitled “Many Men” on Hip-Hop artist 50 Cent's debut album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin". I began receiving emails from aspiring beat makers and producers from around the world, requesting help from me, an “American” Hip-Hop producer. My response to the call was education: I began creating video tutorials and learning tools for beat makers. Being accessible to learners changed the direction of my career and guided my passion for music education.
In this class I will address some of the most fundamental aspects of launching a Hip-Hop production company. Students will also be equipped with necessary information that will help them avoid typical pitfalls that aspiring beat makers, producers or production companies encounter. Most importantly, this class will inspire and motivate students to take a leap and pursue their dreams with confidence.

I'm a creative, adaptable and versatile music producer and educator with over 15 years of successful experience in the music industry. During my career as a producer I have worked with major recording artists such as JayZ, Beyonce, 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, Cam’ron and Busta Rhymes and have made significant production contributions to recordings that have sold in excess of 30 million. I've developed a music business and technology program that has been used in NYC Public Schools since 2008. I've also founded Producers Skill Inc and its subsidiaries: Pskill University, MusicBizKids and OnlineBeatTutor.com - all extremely useful tools for aspiring young music producers and executives.
