Have you ever tried to learn to solve the Rubik’s Cube off YouTube? Usually you see the "Beginner's Method", which is definitely NOT for true beginners. It involves 4 moves, each more complex than the last with tons of variations depending on the situation. The moves are difficult for a beginner to memorize and the method is hard to follow. Most of the time, it starts by learning completely new terminology that you simply don’t need.
I created my own method involving no terminology, easy repetitive moves with very little variation, and tips and tricks to help you remember how to use them. The moves are:
The class will start with the First Fundamental Move. Once you've mastered that, I’ll show you how to use it in the method I developed to make solving the cube fast and easy. I will work with you to help you master the method and teach you the final move needed to solve the cube, once and for all.
For true beginners, I recommend that you take the class twice. Repetition helps. It will be easier to move on to the final stages if you have had a chance to practice the initial stages. People who can already solve part of the cube may be able to solve it after one session. I guarantee that this is by far the simplest method I have ever seen, but of course I can't actually guarantee success.
The price includes a new Rubik's Cube in the first class. If you already have one in good condition, let me know when you sign up and I will refund $12 at the class.
NOTE: Classes will be held at 42 West 44th St. I am flexible on which nights I will teach. If the currently posted class schedule doesn't work for you, post here with a suggestion.
