Integrative Regression Therapy Workshop: Past & Present Life

Regression therapy and hypnosis are widely misunderstood, and it's no mystery why. If you ask 50 hypnotists what hypnosis is, you'll get 50 different answers. If you ask those same hypnotists what regression therapy is, 5 of them will have an accurate idea. If hypnosis had been embraced by figures such as Carl Jung, Freud or Einstein, it would have been what talk therapy became. Instead we had men like Mesmer, Anthony Robbins and Joe Costa. In other words, men with showmanship, messages and sometimes agendas. The truth is that these techniques possess tremendous potential for healing in a world that could really use them. Amazing work has already been done, but misconception and confusion remain. It's time to start clearing it up.

In this class we'll be teaching the basic methods of regression therapy in the framework of Ericksonian Hypnosis. (The most popular and effective method of therapeutic hypnosis) Regression therapy is characterized by accessing present life memories and what may be the memories of past lives as well. We're not suggesting reincarnation exists. What is compelling however is the information that people receive. It is undoubtedly spiritual in nature and can change the way the client views their entire life. In other words, it's very powerful and requires an experienced and wise practitioner.

The class will include lecture, practicum and Q&A.

Prerequisites
A background in hypnosis, NLP, alternative therapies or energy work will help, but are not necessary.

Daniel Ryan

I offer hypnotherapy, regression therapy and behavioral counseling for anxiety, stress relief, depression, pain management, anger management, insomnia, phobias, habit cessation, performance enhancement, PTSD, IBS and other discrete issues. I also teach hypnosis, regression therapy and past life regression.

I see clients in Manhattan, Brooklyn and at The Center for Integrative Healing in Chatham, NJ.

I've been working with hypnosis, regression therapy and healing for almost 20 years. At countless trainings, lectures and seminars all over the world I've gained a tremendous amount of practical experience prior to the age of thirty-five. In my travels, I’ve observed their application in different cultures with different age groups and trained with the most highly regarded professionals in the field.

My father, Dr. Jeffrey Ryan, was a clinical psychologist and my teacher. He specialized in hypnosis and regression therapy, and maintained private practice for over twenty-five years. He served as president of the International Association for Past-life Research and Therapies for 12 years. In the early nineties he introduced me to his work and I was instantly fascinated. I witnessed some rare phenomena, a lot of blind faith, but mostly the quality of my father’s care.

I've also trained with Janet Cunningham Ph.D., author and President of the International Board for Regression Therapy, and Peg Davis; teacher, counselor and founder of BodyMind Wellness. I've worked with Melissa Tiers, author and founder of the Center for Integrative Hypnosis in New York City, and Hans TenDam, President of the European Association for Regression Therapy and head of the Tasso Institute in the Netherlands.

I received my undergraduate degree (BFA) from Emerson College where my research focused on literature, philosophy and sociology. I am board certified by the NGH and IBRT. I attend The New York School of Practical Philosophy and am in my sixth year of study in their ongoing program. In 2011, I co-founded the Center for Integrative Healing in Chatham, NJ.

I offer trainings and group work all over the world. Please contact me directly if you'd like to set up a workshop.
