In this class you will gain confidence getting up on the stage in front of any audience.
Learning how to perform and have stage presence will help you in every aspect of your life. Look at Bill Clinton, Merryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, and Billy Crystal. Not only do they have great talent, but they have a presence! When they walk in the room and speak, they get the audience's attention.
In this class you will learn acting tools that will give you a stronger, more varied vocal range, a more comfortable and confident physicality, and learn to break down a script to create a dynamic, compelling character.
Whether you are looking to be an actor, are taking this course for fun, to improve your confidence, feel comfortable giving presentations, get over stage fright, improve your interview skills, or have more ease and presence in social situations, this acting class is for you.
All levels welcome.
Whether you have acted before, or have always thought about taking an acting class, come have fun and improve your skills.
Scripts will be provided, or if you have a piece you'd like to work on, bring that to the class as well. Please bring a notebook and pen.
