We'll be making chocolate in a raw, minimally processed way without using any refined sweeteners.
I founded Benchic Chocolate in 2009 and since then boxes of my chocolates have made it all over the world to people who love them. They were featured at TEDxSF and many other events, enjoyed in the offices of Google, Oracle, Facebook and are endorsed by NY Times best-selling author and cleansing specialist Dr. Junger.
During the class I will provide you with a brief overview of chocolate-making, ranging from a historic look at Mayan practices, to common modern methods that diminish the rich flavor and health benefits of cacao.
You’ll taste your way through the experience and try each of the ingredients separately before they’ve made their way into the chocolate molds.
Whatever confections you don’t devour are yours to take home along with memories of a decadently fun evening.
