The class is an exploration of traditional Burmese methods of cooking. We will learn to prepare the following dishes as my Grandma did for years:
Laphet Thoke - Fermented tea leaf salad
Ohhno Khawswe - Coconut Chicken Noodle soup and all the traditional garnishes
Coconut Agar Agar dessert
This learning journey through spice and aromas will be followed by a family style dinner as it would be served in Burma!
Note: This class is Gluten Free, and mostly Paleo/Primal friendly. It is not peanut-allergy friendly however.
