Girl Walk

The Epic Dance Music Film
Girl Walk // All Day is a feature-length dance music film shot in the subways, parks, stadiums, streets and public spaces of New York. The film is a story about self-discovery and love, and it’s a tale about finding community and vitality in shared public spaces. The idea for the project emerged from our desire to expand the boundaries of the single-track music video, to an epic musical film.

By incorporating commuters and tourists into the narrative, raising funds to produce the film through Kickstarter, and setting the film to the music of mash-up musician Girl Talk, the film examines how creative crowd participation can occur at every stage of a project. The film will be presented in large public screening events throughout 2012.

Jacob Krupnick is the director and cinematographer of Girl Walk // All Day. Youngna Park is the managing producer of Girl Walk // All Day.
