In the world of fashion, most garments only receive praise once they are showcased on runways or featured in magazines. Unfortunately, this standard often overlooks the most beautiful part of the production process: the fashion illustration. Whether you're a budding beginner or just looking to improve your skills, this class will provide you with easy to follow steps and tools to bring your art to life!
Through video tutorials, curated resources, and hands on exercises, I will take you through the process of creating stunning fashion illustrations in a thoughtfully artistic way.

By the end of this course you sill have a stunning fashion illustration of your favorite runway look.
My name is Katie Rodgers and I started Paperfashion, a fashion illustration blog, nearly four years ago. I’ve been illustrating for as long as I can remember, and I’m excited to finally share my skills with you! I’ve managed to take my hobby and turn it into a career that I’m beyond passionate about. I've had the honor of working with clients such as Lucky Magazine, Kate Spade, Calypso St. Barth, Coach, Nabisco and Alicia Keys. You can find out more about me and my work on Paperfashion, or on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Classes revolve around completing a project and collaborating with fellow students to give and get feedback on your work. Use Video Lessons and the Project Guide designed by your teacher to complete your class project.
Teachers design and present all class content, but Skillshare is community based around student-to-student interaction. You'll be surprised at what you learn from your classmates!
Never! Once enrolled, you have lifetime access to class materials. That means you can learn when and where you want. Learn at your own pace.
