Sarah Mark has over ten years designing for the fashion industry and for the last three years has been the lead designer for a fair trade social business start up company dedicated to empowering women through design. After years of working for the mainstream fashion industry she gained an insider's perspective on how the majority of the industry operates and the complex issues that contribute to a system of enviromental degradation and worker exploitation. In recent years she has dedicated her focus as a designer to focus on efforts that support the fair trade & ethical fashion movement with a broader goal to help reduce waste and to fight poverty around the world.
