The ability to present successfully is one of the most important tools in Business today. “Presentation Skills and Pitch Strategy" will cover everything you need to know to successfully sell your ideas and services.

Topics covered will include:

  • Using a creative approach to presenting
  • Determining client needs to build an effective presentation strategy
  • Building confidence when presenting
  • Creating Goodwill with your audience
  • How to deliver an elevator pitch

Class Project:

Hi All! Don't let the word "project" scare you. This will be a hands on class and the best way to learn is to practice!

Since this class is about Presentation Skills & Pitch Strategy, here are two assignments. Please choose the one that would best fit your interests.

(A) Create a mock pitch for a company or product of your choice. If you're working on something at your job, feel free to use that, if not and you want to get extra creative, you can create your own product, or use an existing one.

(B) Write a speech on something that you're passionate about.

You don't necessarily have to have it written before class, but we only have an hour and a half, so if you brainstorm before hand it will leave us with time to practice on presenting.

Lastly, if you're brave and you want to share, we will make time to hear your pitch or presentation and offer constructive feedback.
