Have you ever wished you had the power to design anything your heart desired and have it magically created out of thin air? Now you can.

Learn how to digitally design and 3D-print your own squishy football for pickup games and general tomfoolery with friends. Select and use a computer software of your choice: Tinkercad, SketchUp, Sculptris, or Rhino and Grasshopper. I will introduce the basics and work with you side by side to design your own toy frisbee.

All software will be introduced, with a focus on Rhino and Grasshopper. Beginners welcome.

Mac and Windows users welcome.

Customize your squishy football design with twisted gripping ridges, tail fins, inscriptions of taunting messages, and more.

Explore how digital design can reveal new ideas and provide fresh inspiration for all your future projects. You’ll play with computers, learn professional skills, and—best of all—you’ll walk away with the knowledge to design your own squishy football good for countless hours of summertime fun.

He holds masters and advanced degrees in architecture, urbanism, and applied research from Columbia University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.

He believes in the extraordinary value of objects that have meaningful stories, but recognizes that the speed and brevity encouraged by our digital lives has perhaps fooled many of us into valuing objects without stories. He works to return meaning to form and teaches others to engage the art of storytelling in everything they create. Learn More
