(If you do not have access to software, you may also use free online editors like Pixlr)
During the first hour of class, you will spend time in a workshop actually working on your Facebook Profile and Cover images. You will learn how to creatively link the two images to be extensions of each other, how to incorporate personal or corporate branding (if applicable), and how to size, sharpen, and optimize the images to capitalize on Facebook's image guidelines.
After a short break, the second session of the class will be spent in a class discussion concerning Facebook options that will help your posts efficiently reach their desired audience.
I am passionate about creative media. I've been involved in making graphics since I was a Kindegartener. Currently, I am an Adobe Certified Photoshop Instructor and have been using creative media to solve problems and help my clients since 2002. Several websites I've designed have won national awards, and I have had the pleasure of working with clients all the way from enormous corporations like Coca-Cola all the way down to individuals who are just starting to develop their ideas.
I currently own a creative studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma called DreamClinic Creative and we specialize on helping companies create their corporate identity, develop their brand, and intiate social-media strategies. We do everything from motion graphics and video to print materials and web design.
I'm excited to teach this course because for some people, their only personal representation online - their only stitch in the incredibly vast fabric of the world-wide web - is their Facebook profile. And, I believe that utilizing creative media and the skills I have as an expert in corporate identity solutions is the perfect way to help these individuals put their own personal stamp on what is often a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all experience.
