Enjoy an evening surrounded by the grandeur of Central Park as we explore the world of organic wines and breads.  Wine Consultant, Alex Masanotti of Astor Wines & Spirits and Anna Boisture, Le Pain Quotidien's Bleecker Street Bakery’s Head Baker, will be our guides through this tasting of the flavors of summer - crisp, sharp, tangy and sweet - all tied together in the perfect pairings.

Students will learn the process behind both organic wine and bread production, how to taste and identify flavors and create the perfect complimentary pairings that will inspire your future endeavors in bread and wine.

Alex Masanotti

Wine Consultant, Astor Wines & Spirits

Alex Masanotti developed her passion for baking in the kitchen with her mom, her appreciation for wine developed at The Culinary Institute of America. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Baking and Pastry Arts Management Degree, she took a job at Astor Wines and Spirits as a Wine Consultant. She has completed a 24 week Viticulture and Viniculture class through the American Sommelier Association, and currently is working towards being a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
