Join Le Pain Quotidien for a picnic in Central Park on a lovely summer evening with Ella Nemcova, The Regal Vegan. Watch Ella demonstrate the perfect summer dishes to enjoy alfresco using fresh, organic and botanical ingredients and then join in the preparation of your very own picnic. We will make dishes such as Faux Gras tartines with seared plums and micro greens, a fresh kale and cashew cheese salad, and a summer berry shortcake. After class we will send you into the Sheep’s Meadow with a basket brimming with delicious dishes to enjoy in the fine summer air.
Students will learn techniques and recipes for fresh, seasonal and botanical dishes in this hands-on class and be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor in the beauty of Central Park afterwards.
