If you have a stack of paper and a pencil, you're set.
If you have a stack of paper, some things to draw/write with, scissors, and a glue stick, you're golden.
Are you sick of going to a bar and talking about the last time you were at a bar? Are you caught up with TV? Do you babysit? Is it a stay-indoors-and-make-stuff kind of day?
In Doodling and Drinks, we'll learn-by-doing a medley of doodle-based activities that you can share with friends, dependents, family, coworkers, enemies and more.
From paper-based group games to jam comics to activity booklets to finger puppets and toys.
All of this along with the fantastic regional and local drink and fooood menu at 61 Local (including Brooklyn Kombucha on tap!).
Bring: your go-for-it attitude, cash for dranks and grub (I recommend the sweet and spicy peanuts).
Take: booklets, drawings, plans for future hangouts.
61 Bergen St.
All necessary supplies will be provided. I'll introduce each project and walk through the steps. Then we'll make/do each project together.

I've been writing and illustrating books and comics for kids since the early '00s. I drew comics for Nickelodeon Magazine, and four of my books have been published by Penguin and Macmillan. I've taught workshops, art camps and classes to kids and post-kids for eight years, and I am AMAZING at folding. I'm not even embarrassed to say it.
