In this class, lifelong entrepreneur and multiple technology startup expert Philip Rosedale will share real-life best practice, tips and personal stories for creating, building and managing a tech startup. Philip built electronic gadgets in 4th grade, started his first software company at 17, developed RealVideo, created Second Life, and co-founded Coffee & Power. He also meditates, boxes, & advises startups, has a secret lab, and is a really nice person.
This class is for both prospective and current entrepreneurs and will provide a unique look and first person stories on surviving, enjoying, and learning from the experience of creating a startup.

In 1995, Philip Rosedale created an innovative Internet video conferencing product (called "FreeVue"), which was later acquired by RealNetworks where (in 1996) he went on to become Vice President and CTO. In 1999, Rosedale founded Linden Lab and built a virtual civilization called Second Life, fulfilling his lifelong dream of creating an open-ended, Internet-connected virtual world. In November, 2011, Rosedale released Coffee & Power, a site that Rosedale calls a "meta-company," that enables people to connect for small jobs and services using a free-market system and distributed work principles.
