Persuasive Design Workshop (LEAN 304)

You are spending money and effort on driving visitors to your pages, but are they converting? Or have you built a landing page MVP and you are not getting subscriptions, signups, or orders?

Class objectives:

  • Learn to think about your pages and your visitors like Conversion Rate Optimization pros
  • Learn actionable tactics and best practices for keeping visitors on your site and doing what you want them to do
  • Have your current project analyzed by the instructor, so you can make improvements immediately

There are no mandatory pre-requisites, but this material is best learned when you have a project you are currently working on, or recently worked on. Your current project can be in the wireframe phase.

We limit the class to 6 attendees, so that we will be able to analyze and provide recommendations for each student's project.

It is suggested that you take Persuasive Design for Conversion (LEAN 204) or at least review the slides.

Boris Grinkot has taught conversion optimization to thousands of marketers through full-day workshops, speaking engagements, and webinars. His work with Fortune 500 and international clients has included design of experiments and optimization of consumer banking, telecom, software, tax services, publishing, magic (yes!), heavy industrial, and many other B2B and B2C websites.

He led conversion optimization projects each generating tens of millions of dollars, and has been a regular contributor to the MarketingExperiments Quarterly Research Journal. In 2011, he completed MarketingSherpa’s inaugural Landing Page Optimization Benchmark Report and in 2012 he was awarded eConsultancy's Digital Vision grant for a conversion optimization research model.
