This Skillshare is meant as an info session and meet-and-greet for TechStars applicants or potential applicants. Everyone is welcome! Meet the people that run TechStars and get answers to any questions and some important tips regarding the application process:

Founder and CEO at TechStars

David Cohen is the founder and CEO of TechStars, a mentorship-driven seed stage investment program for Internet startups. He has invested in over 200 internet startups, and helped more than 20 achive successful exits. David has helped his portfolio companies raise over $325M in capital thus far.

Previously, David was a founder of several software and web technology companies. He was the founder and CTO of Pinpoint Technologies which was acquired by ZOLL Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: ZOLL) in 1999. You can read about it in No Vision, All Drive [Amazon]. David was also the founder and CEO of, a music service which was sold to in 2006. He also had what he likes to think of as a “graceful failure” in between.
