Join two MIT Sloan MBAs, Taariq Lewis and Nathan Williams, as they help you quickly build YOUR solid Business Model out of your product ideas and passion. At the end of their workshop and class, you'll be ready to pitch to any incubator, angel investor, and VC about your product market fit. You’ll have a path to millions or billions in business revenue.
We will be integrating key concepts from the books "Business Model Generation: A Handbook for Visionaries, Game Changers, and Challengers" by Alexander Osterwalder, Yves Pigneur, “Four Steps to the Epiphany” by Steve Blank, and “Lean Startup” by Eric Ries. We will be mentoring everyone during a highly interactive and energetic exchange. Bring your best business ideas and what them get super-refined in just a day.
The class schedule will generally follow the specifications below:
9AM – 10AM: Business Modeling & Introduction
10AM – 11AM: Business Design Patterns
11AM – 12PM: Business Model Case Study & Empathy Mapping
12PM – 1:30PM: Working Team Lunch: Build your Business Model (lunch will be provided)
1:30PM – 2:30PM: Business Model Presentation & Critique
2:30PM – 3PM: Final Reviews and next steps

Taariq Lewis brings extensive experience and enthusiasm in selling innovative enterprise software solutions into new industries and companies. Currently, Taariq is Founder at Stanzr, a startup B2B interactive group-chat and group marketing company. Previously, Taariq, built the initial Sales, Marketing and Channel development for HiveFire, Terametric, and Stanzr. Taariq received his MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and is a Sandler Sales President's Club member of Boston and San Francisco.
Nathan Williams has worked on the Microsoft sales team as a core infrastructure solution specialist helping customers in a variety of verticals efficiently optimize their datacenters. He has done research at Oregon Health and Science University in the machine learning group on evolutionary computation, and has a number of years of software engineering background in test and analysis systems. Nathan has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was competitively selected for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program.
