Building a memorable brand takes time, dedication and skill. From choosing a name that sticks, to spreading a message that people want to listen to and stand behind, we will cover the basics of creating a brand for your company that will help you get noticed. There are a million things to do when first starting a business, we will go over some simple and cost effective ways to make your brand look like a million bucks. Whether you are an entrepreneur, an artist or looking to increase your personal clout, this class can help you set yourself apart from the pack and get noticed.

Summary of Class:

1. The basics: What's in a name.

2. Top five tools your company should be using right from the start.

3. Creative Vision: logos, color schemes, fonts and building a consistent and effective brand image.

4. Why social media matters to your brand: creating a voice that people listen to.

5. Focus Groups - how do you know you are headed in the right direction.

The first half of the class will be covering the basics of branding. The second half will be an interactive case study. If you would like your company to be the case study, please send me an email to [email protected] with an elevator pitch of your company, any links to your online presence/ sites and a short summary of what areas of your business you would like advice on and the issues you are trying to tackle.

Note: All proceeds will be donated to Raise Cache, a benefit fashion show on November 17th to celebrate NY tech and raise $100,000 for HackNY. Help celebrate NYC as the epicenter of Tech, fashion, art, culture and music while fostering the next generation of innovators.
