CEO & Co-Founder

Michael founded Skillshare in 2011. Previously, he was an early employee at Behance (acquired by Adobe) and Hot Potato (acquired by Facebook). Michael is a TED Fellow and listed as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company.

Chris Maliwat

Vice President of Product

Chris is delivering a world-class student experience. Previously, Chris led strategic commerce partnerships at Facebook, served as VP of Product Management for Gilt Groupe, and Director of Product Management for Personalization at Netflix.

Eric Ma

Head of Growth

Eric develops innovative products to grow Skillshare's community. As the company's 5th hire, he has charted Skillshare's growth from early-stage startup to online learning leader. Prior to Skillshare, Eric was a Jumo developer and startup co-founder.

Abigail Besdin

Head of Content

Abigail is building the world's highest quality course catalog of real-world skills. She has forged partnerships with hundreds of expert teachers and redesigned the educational experience. Previously, Abigail developed brand partnerships at Meetup.

Mathias Guttu

Head of Sales

Mathias is bringing the power of skills-based learning to enterprises. Prior to joining Skillshare, Mathias held various leadership roles in the sales organization at ZocDoc and was the SVP of Investments at Allen Partners.

Glenda Felden

Head of Communications & PR

Glenda is growing the Skillshare brand across channels. Previously, she served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Charitybuzz, advised award-winning web start-ups and led PR campaigns at Middleberg Communications and 5WPR.
