What if every conversation were a chance to talk about something you've never talked about before?

The Yapper Lab is a lively 2.5 hour course by LifeLabs New York, exploring the art of great conversation. Can you talk yourself out of a speeding ticket? Ask for a raise? Entertain small children? We'll look at 6 key findings in communication research and try our hand at taking small talk to the next level through fun & insightful experiments.

Scientific Background: Based on research findings in rapport, resonance, and persuasion

At the end of this course you will:

  • be able to track conversation through-lines
  • be skilled at using pivots that build bridges between topics
  • know how to use Spark questions to find hidden treasures
