Graphic Novels are on the rise! Comics have transformed from a fringe novelty to a respected and influential medium; Books such as Watchmen, Ghost World and Maus have established that comics can be as profound and layered as any novel or film.
If you've always wanted to create your own graphic novel, this is your chance: In this workshop you will learn various approaches for writing comics, and how to construct a working narrative for sequential art. An in-class, step by step assignment will help you build your own story and create the seed of what can turn into a best-selling graphic novel.
This workshop is ideal for writers or artists who are looking to create a graphic novel, or cartoonists with past experience who are looking to brush up on their writing/ storytelling skills.
Note: You do not need to know how to draw to take this class!
