This course takes a look at what lies behind much of the viral success that seems to elude most of us yet yet ends up giving a few lucky folks book deals and appearances on the Today show.

Through real examples and my real-world experience, we will discuss how to evaluate ideas, determine whether they're worth pursuing, and find ways to ensure a bare minimum of interest in what you want to write about. In the end, you'll discover ways to build new relationships online and create a buzz.
Students should come prepared with example ideas that have either failed miserably or be ready to brainstorm new ones. I want you to walk out of here thinking about content on the Web in new and more valuable ways.
