You may have a great idea, and the skills to build it. But unless you know the people you're building it for and what they need, it's easy to spend valuable development time on a product that users won't connect with. In this session, you'll learn some techniques to help you learn about the people who will use your product, work with stakeholders to uncover project goals, and create documentation that will help your team understand what's being built and how it will benefit your product's users.

Prerequisites
Students should have a working knowledge of building things for the Web or mobile applications, and be interested in making their products better through user-centered design.
