Designing mobile applications seems to be the thing these days, and it’s becoming hard to find a ux designer to help out on the user experience side. If you’re trying to design an app on your own, without a ux designer, here’s a class that can get you by. This class goes into the specifics of designing user experiences for mobile applications.
In this class you’ll learn:
- Basic mobile design principles
- Emerging mobile standards and patterns
- Tips on prototyping/wireframing and user testing
This is a basics class. If you’ve already got a couple of apps under your belt, you’ll probably already know most of this.
This is a follow up to the original UX design for non-designers class. I highly recommend taking that class first.
Lead User Experience Designer
I have been a ux designer for 14 years and have designed user experiences for many large consumer-facing sites such as Williams-Sonoma, Ancestry.com and Hotwire.com as well as a few startups.
