Be out of the ordinary when traveling by staying with host families abroad. Living with host families is not limited to foreign exchange students. Any travelers can stay with the locals abroad, even just for a few days, to learn how the locals cook, what they do for fun, how to speak their language, and all the things that you would not learn if you were staying in a hostel or hotel.
