Adobe Illustrator is a program quite often misunderstood; however, it is one of the strongest in the line of Adobe Products right along side Photoshop. This course will last for 1 hr and will cover essential tips, tricks, and must haves in Adobe Illustrator. Expect to learn the true purpose of this program, different techniques to execute work, and various elements of the program suited to meet the needs of the illustrator and typographer as well as how this can enhance your Photoshop development.

What will you learn?

We will begin with a brief introduction for the beginners focusing on the "purpose of the program" differences between Illustrator and other "editing programs"

We will then reach into an explanation of a few tools and setup of your document.

This will lead us into a few techniques and information to help assist those interested in using illustrator to its fullest potential. Some professional techniques and shortcuts for artwork and typography/layout.

Our session will end in a question and answer period where we will attack any questions you may have.

Additional items may be covered depending on the speed of the class.

Prerequisites
Any learning level is welcome. Bringing a computer is recommended: Mac or PC
