Take Delicious Food Photos Like It's Your Job

What You’ll Learn

Ever been at a restaurant, dinner party, or your kitchen and thought, "I'll take a picture and post it online."

And then the food pics look like something the Ghostbusters exterminated?

We'll do a brief overview of food photography then walk the greenmarket (natural light is your friend). Afterwards, if time allows, we may hit one of the nearby pastry shops to do some pastry food pics at the end.

Bring your cameras (and those shiny device things with cameras) and together we'll learn how to take more appealing food photos.

(Students should be in touch with the teacher on any food allergies or strong preferences.)

Note: This is not a highly technical class--we won't be discussing F-stops--since the best camera is the one you have with you. Bring your fancy stuff if you like, but we'll be talking about little tricks that work with your phone, point-and-shoot, and/or zoom lens.
