It seems like everyone is founding a start up these days, so how do you stand out? By getting stuff done and being awesome! The first step when you found a start up is to get your name@yourStartUp email address and your company website and blog up and active!

In this class you'll:

  • Set up a free Google Apps account so you can start sending email from an professional email address e.g. name@yourStartUp.com instead of a lame name@gmail.com
  • Set up a company website and blog at your company's domain (website address)
  • Register your company domain
  • Host your blog and website
  • Leave with a smile on your face
I'll show you how to set up a self-hosted Wordpress website, a Tumblr blog with a custom domain, and your start up email addresses.

Figuring out DNS managers, FTP clients, and hosting services can take forever and is frustrating. It's also easy to screw everything up. We'll make the whole process easy by setting everything up during the class. You'll be up and running before you leave!
