This class will explore how to display your work online; reach a wide audience and create an eloquent, clear and original home for your art on the web. If your an Illustrator, Cartoonist, Photographer or Graphic Designer looking to start a new site or improve your existing web portfolio this class is for you.
The class will include:
-Understanding what Art Directors & Clients are looking for in a portfolio site
-Picking your visual strengths and showcasing them
-Learning the dos and don'ts of portfolio web design
-Selling art on your site
There will be an in class lecture, a review of examples of sites that do work and others that don't, and discuss the necessary steps to a successful portfolio site. The lecture will be followed by a workshop where you will outline your new or improved site.
