Whether you are looking for an internship, new job or career change – this course is for you! We will review the following together;

  1. Learn tips for creating and managing your online profile and communicating via LinkedIn and Twitter.
  2. Learn how and where to network so you can find job opportunities before they're posted.
  3. Learn how to get an informational interview from companies of interest and meet the people who have the authority to hire.
  4. Receive "must have" informational interview questions so you are prepared for meeting with hiring managers.
  5. Learn how to engage recruiters so they want to help you get hired.
  6. Discover several techniques to organize and capitalize on your network and connections.

This class is interactive and involves all class members who wish to participate. Laptops and/or iPads are optional but recommended. We will have projection capabilities to review our online profiles together.

 

Prerequisites
Attendees should be interested in learning about leveraging tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter and social media networking skills to create and attract a powerful sphere of influence and opportunity. Attendees will review online profiles together and look for areas to improve their online profiles. This course will give a broad perspective on how to build valuable connections, grow influence and supercharge your career connections.
