This second brainstorming session is an invitation to those who attended the July 11th gathering and anyone else interested in joining us for Phase 2. We're looking for input regarding what's become an education platform for changemakers (no longer a book, but still a survival guide) that's in development. The session will be hosted by the Social Innovators Collective which has been offering entrepreneurial education for changemakers through Skillshare and at General Assembly since last fall.
Since our July 11th meeting, we've been hard at work to integrate everything the amazing attendees shared. We have some more strategic thinking to do, but the wireframes (page content and navigation) are complete. We will launch the site as soon as we get the funding to pay our developer to code the site. Hello Kickstarter!
We will be having a follow up meeting on Thursday, September 20th from 7 to 8:30pm at School of Visual Arts to get attendees' help on finalizing the structure/navigation of the site and input on how to create a winning Kickstarter campaign. A couple of us took a very informative class recently.
The launch will be a "minimum viable product" and will feature 15 downloadable PDF guides from subject experts who are finishing up content as we speak. The topics were chosen based on the feedback you gave us. In addition to the site, there will also will be a corresponding classes taught through Skillshare.
Finally, we would like to give those of you who are interested the opportunity to join us in the next phase.
Please email me at shana@socialinnovatorscollective.org if you have further questions.
Many thanks!
