Sketching is a fantastic communication tool, capable of visualizing abstract concepts quickly. No one should be frustrated, or intimidated by drawing. I want to introduce you to simple methods and techniques to help you communicate visually.

Along with sketching techniques, I will be introducing you to storyboarding for products. Simple storyboarding is a great way to explain actions happening over time. It's useful for illustrating services, showing a user's interactions with a product, and demonstrating a compelling user journey.

About this class

I will cover:

  •  simple excersises to become comfortable with sketching
  •  how to create basic story-boards
  •  helpful tips & techniques with digital & traditional tools
  •  an introduction to digital tools such as tablets and Sketchbook Pro

Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. If you own a tablet & sketchbook pro, you might want to bring this as well. I will be demo-ing digital tools at the end.
