This dynamic class will provide an overview of the important steps to think through as you start out on a self publishing project. Many considerations will be discussed including design, marketing, social media, printing, and distribution. Melissa Delzio will speak from her personal experience (bringing Our Portland Story to life) as well as reference the paths taken by other local, successful self publishers. Students should come with specific questions or challenges and be open to group discussion and ideation. This class is meant to inform, motivate and provide guidance to up-and-coming self publishers.
