About this Class

Everyone has an old necklace or pair of earrings that sit's in the jewelry box un-worn. Why...Often times because of something simpe like a lost or broken jump ring, missing clasp or ear wire. This workshop will teach you how to identify the problem, select the right findings and make the appropriate repair(s). So you can give those pieces an amazing makeover and thus new life. It's all about wearing it, enjoying it, and loving every minute of it. Give honor to the person who left you those amazing vintage pieces. Or be your own jewelry angel. Bring your damaged or broken pieces to this workshop and revitalize them. Add a few beads, change the clasp and re-work it into a beautiful new piece. You can purchase additional beads, findings and interesting things at the workshop for discounted prices. In this two hour class you will have some fun, learn some new skills and meet creative people who are just like you. The class is designed for beaded jewelry designs, pearls, sterling silver and fashion jewelry. Not intended for 14k gold designs. The class must have a minimum of four students in order for the class to run. Thanks and I hope to see you there.

I've been an artist and maker all of my life. I'm presently teaching sculpture, calligraphy and book arts at Northampton Communtiy College in Pennsylvania. I travel between NYC, NJ and PA teaching jewelry design and fabrication in a variety of settings. Including painting classes in my private studio in PA.
