Seeking a classroom. Suggestions welcome.

Printmaking is an ancient process that still intrigues today. The seemingly complex process makes it possible to reproduce an image, and give it more weight than a drawing.

In about 90 minutes, students will create their own etching plates and press an original image using a palm press. They will learn how to set up a printmaking station for far less than the cost of purchasing a printing press. The printmaking station also takes up less space, weighs next to nothing, and is easily stored.

Class cost is $25, and materials will be provided during class. Students will need to bring a simple image they would like to make into an etching.

Comments on more convenient class times and locations are welcome! Cahuenga Stage is an old special effects/stop motion studio in the heart of old Hollywood. Parking in front and on street.

Prerequisites
This class is great for people who have never done any printmaking before, and also useful for experts of the medium! Drawing skills not necessary.
