What You’ll Do
Project: Build a pinboard that creates your brand’s visual narrative.
What You’ll Learn

Learn how to use Pinterest to effectively tell your brand’s story. Leave this class with a perfected Pinterest board that expresses what your brand is about - whether personal or professional.

I have a following of nearly 1.5 million on Pinterest and have worked with brands from Calypso St. Barth, Art.com and Le Bunny Bleu, to Glamour Magazine, Vera Wang, and Zales. I am also a former small business owner who successfully landed my e-commerce site in publications such as DailyCandy, Lucky and Real Simple Magazine. Accomplishing all of this from the comforts of my home office, I know the ins and outs of utilizing social media sites like Pinterest to get you and your brand noticed.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Utilize the power of your pinboard to create a strong brand “story” and promote your brand
  • Identify and clearly articulate who your target audience is in order to find your Pinterest community
  • Source “pin-worthy” and “repinnable” imagery
  • Write the copy that enhances your imagery and story

You’ll learn all these skills by creating, perfecting, and managing your own Pinterest pinboard. We’ll work collaboratively to give each other feedback, suggestions and high-fives on our pinboards throughout class - in the online Classroom and in offline, local workshops.
