To the uninitiated, Night Photography might be frightening: technical limitations, weird locations, and -- worst of all -- no or very little light. Well, fear no more! With some basic equipment and knowledge, you can learn how to take beautiful night photographs which stand out from the crowd.
These two sessions, with a shooting exercise in between, will serve as an introductory guide to the world of long exposures, low light shooting situations, and long nights with only you and a camera by your side.
What you'll learn
Between sessions there is a full moon and you'll be given an assignment to shoot and work on some of your new skills. While not required, the group may want to head out together on the same night. In our second session we'll review our photos and discuss challenges and processing basics.
