This is a high level survey class that will introduce students to all of the many NYC food-related resources, from shopping, to cooking, to volunteer opportunities to improve our food system. We will discuss all of the ways to get out and join other food-lovers in unique activities like visiting the rooftop farm where we will meet, competing in a food competition, or supporting a food advocacy group. Whatever your area of interest, there is a community of other like-minded people to meet. Learn about all the fun ways to delve deeper into your passions and make friends in the process.

There will be time to explore the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm as well. **Feel free to post comments about specifics you hope to learn so I can better tailor the class.
