This class is aimed at anyone who’s ever had a great idea for an app, but feels a little lost taking their idea from a dream to reality. You don’t have to have a technical background; we’ll be diving into the concept and creation phase of product development, turning a vague idea into a fully fledged product story.
You’ll finish the class with a narrative that defines your product in terms you can use as a basis for execution and further development, and some real insights about your product and your target users—plus a process you can apply to any other idea or product.
Of course, if you do have a technical background this class can serve as a useful first step in defining what it is you are going to build, rather than diving into coding headfirst without a roadmap or destination!
If you don’t have an idea right now, don’t worry—we’ll be running through a sample idea "ChefsHelper" together in the class. This sample is a mobile app, but almost all the material works just as well for web apps, and a good deal of it translates even outside the ‘app’ bubble.
