Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Some background in typography.
I've been teaching typography, portfolio, editorial design, intermediate design, and basic design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City for over twenty years. Most all of my students have gone on to high profile careers in the field of graphic design. I'm the creative director and owner of Six Sisters Design, LLC. I've also been an art director at The New York Times (fourteen years), Time magazine, Rolling Stone, and the Boston Globe, among others. My professional awards in the field are numerous. My publications are also numerous. Don't let this intimidate you, I'm still learning and find my students are among my best teachers.
